NEW STUDENT: Genesee Brewers' Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established in 2017 to create a partnership between the northeast neighborhood of the City of Rochester, the local beer community, and Monroe Community College. This scholarship will provide financial support to students who are registered for classes in areas which are associated with the brewing industry in an effort to bring more passionate people, representing diverse backgrounds into the beer industry.

ELIGIBILITY

1. Full-time students.
2. Demonstrated financial need.
3. MCC GPA of 2.5 or higher.
4. Enrolled in programs adjacently related to various areas of the beer, food and beverage industry such as chemistry, biology, business, accounting, statistics, advanced manufacturing and/or the agricultural and food studies program.
5. Preference given to students who reside within, or attended school in the neighborhoods surrounding the Genesee Brewery which include zip codes 14604, 14605, 14609, 14613, 14614, 14621.
