Impact

The Nursing Department at MCC has provided a high quality and effective education to students for over 40 years. Our graduates express high levels of satisfaction with the program and employers express high levels of satisfaction with our graduates. Our graduates pass the National Council’s Licensing Examination for RNs (NCLEX-RN) at rates exceeding both state and national averages.

MCC’s graduate nurses become registered nurses after passing a New York state examination, which allows them to contribute to the health of our community in many health care settings. You’ll find them in hospitals, long term care, schools, doctors’ offices and in four-year colleges pursuing their baccalaureate degrees.
