Officer Daryl Pierson Memorial Scholarship

Established in 2015 to honor the memory and service of Rochester Police Officer Daryl Pierson, who died in the line of duty in September 2014. The scholarship will support MCC students studying Criminal Justice and will honor and recognize Officer Daryl Pierson’s exemplary work ethic as a student in MCC’s Criminal Justice program. An anonymous $10,000 pledge has initiated the scholarship and the donor encourages others to help endow the scholarship to create an ever-lasting tribute to Daryl.

ELIGIBILITY

1. Enrolled in an MCC Criminal Justice degree program.
2. Must have successfully completed a minimum of 12 credit hours toward the degree.
3. Minimum 3.0 GPA.
