NEW STUDENT: Young Women's College Prep Scholarship

Young Women’s College Prep (YWCP) offers young women from the City of Rochester the opportunity to learn in a single-gender environment, free from stereotypes, where a strong focus is placed on preparation for college enrollment and graduation. They support students in their endeavors to achieve excellence in and out of the classroom, helping them to develop the strong voices they will need to be leaders. This scholarship will support graduates of YWCP as they continue their educational journey at Monroe Community College.

ELIGIBILITY

1.) Full or part-time students.
2) Demonstrated financial need or merit.
3.) High School GPA of 2.5 or higher.
4.) Graduate of Young Women’s College Prep Charter School.
5.) Write a 1-2 page essay stating their educational and career goals and how this scholarship will help them on their journey.
