David L. Pogue Scholarship

David L. Pogue is an attorney and was a full-time member of Monroe Community College’s Department of Law and Criminal Justice for 29 years. He is currently Professor Emeritus. This scholarship honors his dedication to preparing students for successful careers in the legal profession and Criminal Justice careers. It will support students who come to MCC for a solid foundation and who strive to reach higher and higher in academic and professional achievement. The donor, William R. Thomas, is a highly successful attorney in the Columbus, Ohio, area, and attributes much of his success to the education and encouragement he received while a student at Monroe Community College.

ELIGIBILITY

1.) Full or part-time students.
2.) Enrolled in an A.S. or A.A.S. degree program in Law and Criminal Justice.
3.) Preference for students considering a career in the legal profession.
4.) Students must have completed at least 12 credit hours.
5.) MCC GPA of 3.25.
