Jim Galligan Memorial Scholarship

Like many skilled trades, the automotive industry is experiencing a tremendous shortage of technicians. These well-paying jobs offer students with an aptitude for mechanics and problem solving a rewarding career pathway that leads to financial self-sufficiency and considerable growth potential. The Jim Galligan Memorial Scholarship seeks to support automotive technology students at Monroe Community College as they pursue their career goals.


1.) Full or part-time students.
2.) MCC GPA of 2.75 for initial award and continued eligibility.
3.) Enrolled in the A.A.S. degree program in automotive technology in the multi-manufacturer track.

$1,000 ($500 per semester)
