Frankie Valente Memorial EMS Endowed Scholarship

The Frankie Valente Memorial EMS Endowed Scholarship is a permanent and everlasting tribute to Frankie – an EMT who passed away on the job in January 2018. The scholarship will support education and training for students enrolled in the Paramedic A.A.S. degree program or EMT certificate program. Frankie was always providing help to those around him, which motivated his parents, Anthony and Joyce, to adopt the motto of “Helping others, help others”, which they hope this scholarship will do.

ELIGIBILITY

1.) Full or part-time students enrolled in the EMS program.
2.) Demonstrated financial need.
3.) GPA of 2.0 or higher.
4.) Please provide a short essay on the theme of ‘Helping others, help others.’ Essay should be one-page, double-spaced, Times New Roman font size 12.
5.) Recipients will be encouraged to attend various fund raising events hosted by the Valente family throughout the year.
