Education Design Lab Scholarship

Established in December 2021 to support single mom students through Monroe Community College’s Single Moms Success Design Challenge (SMSDC). Funding provided by ECMC Foundation and Education Design Lab.

ELIGIBILITY

1.) Full or part-time students.
2.) Demonstrated financial need.
3.) MCC GPA of 2.5 or higher for continuing students.
4.) Single mom learner.

  1. Are you willing to meet regularly with a coach or MCC contact to ensure continued enrollment and success?
  2. Please provide an essay of 200-300 words on why you are requesting the funds. You should include: (a.) The unique challenges you face as a primary caregiver of a minor child who is head of household. (b.) How this scholarship will directly impact you and your ability to be a successful student.
