Ronald McDonald House Charities Memorial Endowed Scholarship in Memory of Ronald L. Bittner

Made possible through a grant from the Ronald McDonald House Charities in 1998 in recognition of Ronald L. Bittner who chaired their capital funds campaign and inspired the community to embrace this haven for the families of critically ill children. To assist a worthy student majoring in Communications with the costs of education.

ELIGIBILITY

1. Communications students, as defined by the department, are students who are currently enrolled in CM01, VC01, or PR01 degree programs.
2. A student who has demonstrated exceptional academic achievement in high school or a non-traditional student who shows exceptional academic achievement in his/her first and second semester at Monroe Community College.
3. The recipient should be a first-year student: someone currently completing his/her/their first or second semester.

You should include how this scholarship will directly impact you and the unique challenges you face (such as loss of employment, family hardships, lack of family support, learning disability, returning adult student, working and going to school full time, childcare, etc.). Include an explanation of your academic and career goals in the field of Communications.
